Also I also suggest a giveaway, a PDF file that can’t easily be passed on to others, and the key is quality information, that helps someone and want to learn more.

The result is a document that goes viral and is passed on to others without you doing the work. International internet marketers use these types of reports to build “buzz” (massive online interest) in an upcoming product launch.

The market is affiliate marketing. This is huge market, in which the affiliates, promote and advertise products, in exchange for a commission on sale. (Can you say “An army of Free Commission Only Salespeople”?)
Commissions rang from 8% for Physical products up to 75% for Digital software products.

The merchant (the provider of the product) wins because he gets sales and only pays for results. The affiliate wins because, he doesn’t have to hold stock, provide customer service etc

You can sign up for free as an affiliate (sometimes called partner program) and it is managed via online sales tracking software. Many millions of sales happen every day online, using this method.

Amazon.com alone has over 250K affiliates. That’s not to mean running an affiliate program is just for big companies, many smaller companies can do the same thing with low cost software.

Now back to the marketing example….The PDF file should have been provided from the merchants website (using email and first name opt in to an email list building) but guess what? - it was passed to me by a friend.
This is viral marketing at its best, passed to me by someone I trust, I am more likely to read it. When I see value I pass it others like you ;)

Now it is a high quality in depth PDF - I am not saying you have to create such a complete document, but it is an excellent example.
