Focus
By admin |
I was lying in bed this morning, and worked out I had made another mistake (yes I have made a lot) and that mistake was the lack of focus. I have a lot of different work going on which includes:
- Local SEO Business
- 50 plus other Niche websites in different markets- For passive income
- Digital Products selling online
- Numerous ideas for back link marketing which I am testing out.
If that’s not enough, I have the 90 day profit Challenge here:http://www.ninetydaystoprofitonline.com/
Which is a project I am committed to, even though I don’t know where I going to find the time. I have commited to make it happen which will make me move forward. As you can see I really need to be focused, but how do you do that on a daily basis? and more importantly, how would you do it if you are part time.
- Email- Biggest time killer- never make it the first thing you do…..anything in email can wait till second and then be brutal….do I need this Yes/no…delete…. allow 30 minutes to clean and make some quick and to the point answers to important messages.
- Do One Task first -This needs to be a task that brings you closer to your goals. if you dont have a website, start by working out what you need. putting a few notes on a word document- keeping it simple.
- If you have a website, then do something that is going to bring more visitors to your site like writing and promoting an article about your products/services.
- Watch the time- or let it watch you
Use a timer to keep track of what you are doing. Here is free PC based version: http://www.harmonyhollow.net/cool_timer.shtml
- Use tools that same time- eg Password savers and short cut programs like Roboform- Check out the video here:
http://www.digitalawol.com/roboform.htmThis program is a life saver, once you use it, you will love it, saves passwords securely, log in pages everything already to use for next time. It’s fantastic and free forever for 10 passwords! My short cut program: Type Pilot - A very unknown program, which allows me to assign a couple of keys so I never have to type the same keys again
eg: h1 gives me: http://www. and em1: (inserts my email address)
Call me lazy but I like to get the most done I can in the shortest time time, afetr all the goal is not to spend you life in front of the computer screen….
Hope this helps
Paul
