Where have I been

As you can see its a new blog design a new layout and I haven’t posted anything for a long time. I have been tied down in growing my local SEO business and developing a better business model.

I have moved into the ability to provide “Guaranteed Ranking” results for serious clients – and offer dedicated service and help in all areas of marketing online – Have accountability makes me work harder for the client. My main site for this is here: http://www.DigitalAWOL.com/

I also have be working on small niche sites, aimed at creating income via adsense advertising. It’s a process which does work, it’s a matter of understanding the time to put in and the effort to gain traffic from natural search engine ranking. Its a slow building process but income is 100% passive.

The great thing is Google, pays on time every time :) which is nice. My sites are not making a lot of money yet (I have 50 under action) – They are making small amounts so far.

I have taken to outsourcing in a big way. In the past outsourcing specific tasks, left me (9 times out of 10) unsatisfied with the results.

I took another path after listening to a recording about outsourcing to the Philippines. I have spent some time in the country, around the mid 80s (and was married to a Philippino  for 15 plus years), so I understand the culture and the people.

I now have a full time writer, who I have taught article marketing and he is putting out on average 100 articles per month. (Writing , rewriting and submission of the articles)

I just bought him some software to make the job easier and faster.

Lately I had him working for local client – 60 articles out promoting my clients site within 2 weeks! That will get results for my client and results for me.

We use email to communicate plus a couple of other tools:

http://www.Jingproject.com

(opens new window)Allows  you to create a video, with audio of your screen and explain things, then within 1 minute you can have it up on line.

See an example of one I did after a local event, here in Auckland:

2. Google docs – ( http://docs.google.com/ ) Which lets you put up a document online with tasks that you both can edit, It makes sure the work is getting done, and you are both on the same page ;) so to speak.

3. Skype- The Free phone system as a back up plan.

In using someone from another Country – there is quite a few details to work out. The Audio Interview at Replacemyself.com was fantastic- one of the best I have listened in a long time:
